Description
Every year the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square host a spectacular Christmas program with a world-class guest artist. The guest artist in 2009 was nine-time Grammy Award Winner Natalie Cole. She brought her distinctive and well-recognized style to the Conference Center stage for this concert - never to be forgotten. Several of the songs were first made famous by her father, Nat King Cole including "Caroling, Caroling" and "Christmas Song" (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire). Ever the consummate performer, she wowed the audiences with her rendition of the medieval carol "The Holly and the Ivy" and David Foster's recent hit, "Grown-up Christmas List."
