Takeaways Electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla (TSLA) will kick off earnings season for Big Tech's Magnificent Seven, reporting its third quarter results on Wednesday, October 23. Investors will be closely watching Tesla's vehicle production figures and guidance after being disappointed by CEO Elon Musk's grand unveiling of the Cybercab robotaxi. While stock futures (ES=F, NQ=F, YM=F) prepare for this busy week for earnings, Goldman Sachs warned that the S&P 500 (^GSPC) may not maintain its above-average performance, writing investors should expect equity returns to be "toward the lower end of their typical performance distribution" over the next decade. Aircraft manufacturer Boeing (BA) has reportedly reached a tentative agreement with the striking International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) union with a vote currently set for Wednesday.
