“The content is great and I watch the televised version routinely. The breaking down of the podcast into segments risks alienating listeners to the point of no return. It was already challenging enough that the podcast was a recording of a televised show, which translates somewhat strangely, as opposed to shows that are straight-up audio only. (For example when reference is made to visuals in the show that one cannot experience on the audio version.) But now on top of that you go and break it into little pieces, tearing it apart and increasing the chances that listeners will be even more alienated. Think about it, this could have been done to cater to the advertising, to increase its exposure so it hits you at the beginning of each segment. I for one have given up on the podcast version. It has one too many oddities that make it practically more of a challenge to listen to than not.”
