“I enjoy Morning Meeting for its pure absurdity. Every episode is reliably inflated with pomp and gusto. Pumped full of adverts for things that most people will never afford - e.g. $3000 denim pants. Like clockwork every Saturday morning their fetishisation of the British establishment makes me want to puke. It’s the sort of love-to-hate show that keeps me suspended in a never ending state of anxious excitement. But their one glaring flaw is the TERRIBLE audio production - bad mics, bad sound environments, crappy zoom links with guests, regularly not asking guests to turn their phone on silent (?!). Basic stuff for radio. I must’ve heard guests get hundreds of emails since listening.”
