Pretty entertaining
I am not a big true crime podcast person and I am definitely not a “Dateline podcast” type of listener. This is still very interesting to me though. I’m sure this story has been the subject of a lot of books and shows but it’s new to me. But ultimately it’s more about how people get caught up in groups and can be made to do/think some wild stuff if they are manipulated. I’d recommend this for a binge listen. Wish all the episodes were released at once though, come on.

Victim blaming, zero empathy, speaks cavalierly about sexual trauma. I couldn’t get beyond the second episode, he was too awful.

Love Mank but this story is simply gross. Nick Hacheney is yet another glorified narcissist who now has his own story voiced by Mank and heralded by Dateline.
