A parenting perspective that resonates
Hi there. I’ve been wanting to reach out and thank you for such an amazing parenting perspective that truly resonates. Your passion for this topic is clear and your selflessness to bring such an important topic to light will help make the world a better place. It has been a mindset shift that has changed my parenting in such a positive way. All that being said, I did not want to leave this as a review because of the four stars I gave. I feel like your parenting information is 10 stars (I would give even more if I could) so I don’t want this to skew your ratings, but I felt compelled to voice my thoughts. Although I find the parenting information to be priceless, I have contemplated unfollowing this podcast on a few occasions. Right now the landscape of the world is focused on inclusion, however I consider myself to be a moderate conservative, as is a large part of this country. I find some of the unnecessary political remarking and commentary to be very isolating to me as a conservative and really unnecessary to a parenting podcast. I am aware that the pendulum has swung into a politically liberal landscape right now and I have always been curious to see through another person’s lens. I can see how critical some of the shifts in mindset are right now. I find the content in the parenting realm to be so beneficial that I’m willing to compartmentalize the politics that pop up in the podcast, however I honestly don’t come to a parenting podcast to be ridiculed or shamed for my political leanings. If the world’s landscape needs to work on inclusion, I think it would be ironic to not include a conservative viewpoint as a valid lens that someone may look through. I’m not looking for this review to be posted. I’m just hoping it’s something you will take into consideration. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your knowledge. Ultimately, the world is better because of you. Shani Baker

I loved Abigail Wald’s input on the hand in hand podcast and couldn’t really see how she could improve on that - but she has! (And you don’t need to have listened to hand in hand to listen to this, it’s a wonderful stand alone podcast) I LOVE this podcast. Every conversation has a few lessons for...Read full review »

Such an amazing and refreshing approach to parenting. Before finding Abigail, I felt isolated and shamed as a parent because my kids were not doing everything I said when I said it, etc. Abigail has helped me find my voice and my values as a parent (and as a person!). She had helped me see that I...Read full review »
