“The story is fun, even if the writing can be a bit inconsistent. All the 11 year olds are too precocious, but if you just enjoy the ride you are in for a real treat.
Exploring the wizarding world through the lens of the enlightenment and rationality is a delight. For example, I never considered how evil or compromised the ministry of magic is to employe dementors in its criminal justice system. Or how challenging it would be to prove guilt in a world of Polyjuice potion, time turners, memory charms, and imperio curses.”
