Must listen for women who are/will be/want to be moms
So refreshing to hear women speak openly and honestly about their fears and the challenges they are facing navigating work/friendships/relationships in motherhood. I feel like so many things these moms shared could have come out of my own mouth. So relatable. And Dr Sacks is my hero. After listening to this series (and every other podcast I can find that she appears on) I feel her voice in my head asking me questions and guiding me through my own challenges as a new mom. A major THANK YOU to the moms who volunteered to speak with Dr Sacks in this vulnerable way.

I hadn’t realized how much, as a new mom, I wanted to hear other new mothers really just unpack these weird boxes of trauma and confusion and ambivalence in our minds — and Alexandra helps them (and thus us!) navigate it so simply, honestly, empathetically. An instant must-listen.

Found this while perusing psychology related podcasts. As a mom and future therapist, so happy to see you talking about these common, but unrecognized, concerns.

Vocal fry in the voices is terrible. Cannot listen to this unfortunately. Content is so interesting!
