Description
It was the perfect timing to invite MotoGP's big boss, just one day after the 2024 calendar was announced Dorna Sports CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta joins Fran Wyle to explain how the Championship has evolved from the early 90s with only European rounds to a global calendar with 22 stops in very different countries all over the world. Carmelo also deep dives into why the calendar is organized in that way, the history-making Indian GP despite all the difficulties faced and the importance of bringing MotoGP to new countries in an efficient and sustainable way. We also get to know Carmelo a bit more as he recalls some personal anecdotes and opens up about when his passion for motorsport started, when he got his first motorbike, how he and his friends built up the Calafat circuit and a few years later was also involved in the construction of Barcelona's track and his final move to Dorna.
