Today we have a plea for help from a Spanish animal charity located in Alhaurín el Grande in Malaga. www.todosloscaballosdelmundo.com.
Concordia runs all the horses in the world charity
CIF no. G92703669. The Charity was established in 1997 and currently has 66 horses, 88 cats, 27 dogs, 10 ferrets, 11 turtles, and an assortment of other animals.
Concordia relies solely on donations to run the 78,000m2 19 acre sanctuary. She made a call to
our senior lawyer Marisa Moreno Castillo who is also the Consul for Denmark to
see if there was anything she could do.
I was then tasked with trying to publicise her plight. So, the next day I recorded a special episode of the Move to Spain podcast with her. You can listen to Concordia´s gun-toting adventures with a lion and tiger in the mountains of Andalusia and the reality of possibly
having to close her beloved rescue. She only takes the animals that other sanctuaries don’t want and all the animals are free to roam around, well with the exception of the aforementioned lion and tiger.
She is desperate to receive donations, a euro would help. You can also sponsor an animal and go and visit. Marisa is now the proud parent of a turtle. You can also purchase food for the animals directly from her supplier.
If half of the group members sent a euro, it would mean everything to her.

If you would like to volunteer, you can get in touch at the same email address. If you have experience with animals, you would be more than welcome. She doesn’t have time to train any new people, but if you´re happy with manual work, your services would be very much appreciated.
If you are anywhere in the world, Concordia would gratefully accept help with social media, web design, fundraising, and maybe some graphic design so someone can set up some kind of merchandise provision.
