What is this?
Oh good god! The only reason they don’t get 1 star is because on a very rare occasion they are able to present a cogent opinion, and I also don’t deal in absolutes as most of the internet does, and this group of people are no different. I tend to find Australians inherently funny. One of my favorite podcasts is The Weekly Planet, who actually have a good relationship with the people at Sanspants. But, the people on that show are funny, insightful, open minded, and above all likable. These people are none of those things. It’s quite fascinating to hear people who have such different voices, but are so forgettable as human beings. The only two of these particular people who I can place are Zammit and Gabe. Zammit seems to be some kind of ring leader who somehow has come to the extremely uninformed conclusion that he should be giving his opinions on anything. I have never in listening to the many shows that I have listened to actually liked the “maintenance” that he has done any particular peace of pop culture, not to mention that he constantly sounds like he is choking down a mouthful of yogurt. And Gabe very well might be the most unlikable person I have ever heard in the history of recorded audio. He claims to be a writer, and by the look of his body of work he is prolific, but that doesn’t change the fact that he is a boor. Just an obnoxious boor. His rant in the Jessica Jones episode is so grating that, even though I agreed with what he was saying, found myself actually physically wincing. He’s a man who is under the incredibly misguided idea that he is humorous. He’s someone who revels in being the one with the odd opinion in the room, even though I think he is often being disingenuous. He is everything that is wrong with the internet. A cowardly, overly opinionated jerk who thinks being loud is the same thing as being correct. He hurls venomous barbs from a million miles away, while being the exact kind of guy that if challenged face to face would topple like a house of cards on a windy day. Avoid these guys like a massive, poisonous Australian snake.

Funny, perceptive, and just plain great. If you love movies and love to hate movies, you'll love this. Just listen to it. Now.

I've recommend this show to all 2 of my friends. It's the best podcast by the Sanspants team. The Christmas special was hilarious

Great look at what you would do different with movies (and the odd TV show) funny, insightful and usually making their versions sound better than the original. My only complaint is it's not as regular as their other casts
