“It’s my birthday party so I get to choose the movie!” 📼🍰✨
Nowadays, a trendy thing to do on the web is bash and nitpick the heck out of media we grew up on, but that’s quite the opposite when Mo and Christina discuss our favorite retro flicks. These gals give the most considerate, thoughtful, and loving reviews. Even if some things in these films didn’t age well, the host will always discuss critiques with a respectful and honest mindset. I wanted to give this review a spin because I started wondering what each host’s “movie montage” song would be. I took inspiration from each girl’s instagram aesthetic! For Christina, I was thinking a “sunny weekend at the park” montage set to Paradisin by Rina Sawayama. For Mo, I had the idea of a “sparkly night on the town” montage to Doesn’t Really Matter by Janet Jackson! Anyways, thank you for such a wonderful podcast! It sure does make my day happier! WOW
What an amazing podcast find! I’m a 22 year old girl who has always been obsessed with movies, especially the ones I grew up with. This is such an amazing podcast and I listen to it every chance I get, it’s replaced my music listening for the most part. Great job ladies!
