Description
For Mary, sending her second child, Owen, to college was an exciting time. She never imagined that one Sunday evening he would vanish without a trace. Growing up, Owen was a good kid, responsible, caring and rarely got into any trouble. He spent his time writing songs with friends, exploring the outdoors and making his family laugh. He'd only been at college for a few short weeks when Owen's roommate called his parents and said that he was missing. They immediately launched a search and spent weeks searching for Owen. They've never found his backpack and are uncertain what happened to the money he took out of an ATM. Three weeks after Owen went missing, they recovered his body in the Willamette River. When the report from the Medical Examiner led to more questions than answers, Mary and her family felt even more lost and confused. Struggling to move beyond the grief of losing Owen, while trying to understand what happened, Mary hopes that Fleur will connect with Owen and help bring a little closure to their loss.
