I am really happy with the house and the cost. I followed Charlie’s advice. I offered my maximum comfortable price (it worked out at about 17% below asking price) and it was firmly rejected. I walked away. Two weeks later, estate agent rang me back to say that sellers would like to accept the offer. Thank you, thank you, thank you Charlie. The only issue is the seller’s conveyancer. So, not sure if the sale will actually complete, even though it’s a straightforward sale. But that’s another story. I can’t believe how spot on you are with all of your advice, Charlie.
