“This is a hidden gem that plays hidden gems… I really liked the format of this show. I’m a music geek, and I loved that the hosts dug up info on rappers’ careers, set up the record, and then give you snippets of the tracks on that album. Anybody that references Freeq Nasty gets extra points in my book, that was one of the house party jams in the 90s for me. Poor Freeq Nasty, never got any traction besides that… Props to them on the LL Cool J segment too, Queens in the building!!”
