“I grew up during the birth and Golden Age of Hip Hop, but I was never really “into” it. I got into this podcast through my wife and Death Wish Coffee. I never realized that I’d be learning so much each week!
I especially never expected to learn that I knew as much as I did about classic Hip Hop. It’s amazing what growing up at the right time will do for your general knowledge.
It turns out, Hip Hop was everywhere and influenced so much during my formative years that I picked up more than I realized, almost through osmosis.
This podcast lets me relive my younger years AND keeps me up to date on what’s going on with the artists who, knowingly or not, made a huge impact on me growing up.
