Perfect duo
I have really started to enjoy Annabelle Crabb’s TV show Kitchen Cabinet this year. There’s something in her approach that’s finally clicked for me: she’s unapologetically nosy but allows the interviewee space. Here, with Steph Tisdell is a lovely balance. Steph Tisdell is a genius in stand-up, and has the special distinction of being the only comedian who had me laughing at all 10 of her funniest things on the internet with the Guardian. Annabel has years of anecdotes which are retold to the younger Steph, who really listens and often responds with a slightly different take on things - which occurs to me is a way of keeping stories alive. It’s very well-researched and structured, has plenty of humour and with clips from the original interviews with politicians to add variety, it’s all round entertaining.

These stories are our stories. I’m grateful to see them aired out. And I can’t wait for the next chapter of women in our parliament.

Enjoying the podcast but finding it frustrating to constantly hear Steph over talked. She is often about to say something quite interesting and then is interrupted and dismissed with a statement leading another way.

This podcast is so inspiring and I play it on my way to school, I even started blasting it on the station bc I had just missed the train and I was already fired up by the stories of these women
