“Alison and Andy clearly have so much knowledge and a light touch of humour helps, but it would help if they talked over each other less. Also, the show would have more power if they were not quite so derisive. Don’t just preach to the converted. Also, it would be great if they could take a leaf out of podcasts like Prosecting Donald Trump and the BBC’s The Rest is Politics where Andrew Weissmann & Mary McCord, and Rory Stewart & Alistair Campbell respectively have a care for lay audience members who don’t know all the terminology and can’t follow events so minutely as to know everything referred to. Don’t assume we share the depth and breadth of knowledge, or retain all of it. The many links in the show notes are great though. Top billing for content, but delivery could be better.”
