“I’ve stuck with this pod for a while now, but it’s the first on the chopping block as I trim down my feed. There’s nothing terribly wrong with it, but the culmination of all the minor annoyances grates on you after a while.
In going for a natural conversational feel, they don’t seem to prepare much, which leads to a lot of:
“Hey, did you see this story?”
“I haven’t.”
“Ok I haven’t read it personally but I heard...”
Which leads to a lot of misinformation and speculation.
In addition, the main guy has a horrible habit of playing a sound clip for the audience to hear, but then pausing it three or four times to comment as it plays, which makes it difficult to actually understand the clip.
All in all, it’s fine I guess, but it could cover the same amount of content in half the time. I’ll be sticking with the superb “Mueller, She Wrote” and putting this one back on the shelf.”
