“I’ve learned a lot from this show for years. I’m not nonmogamous, but in a lot of ways this show has made me a better monogamous person I think. Somehow it’s made me much more sure that I’m monogamous while showing me new ways to practice relationships outside of romance. If I had one criticism, other than a few irritating prescriptivist attitudes I’ve noticed, it’s that all the advertising for retreats to Costa Rica for poly people probably isn’t only irrelevant and annoying for me, as a monogamous person, to hear about. What if a not-rich person polycurious person wanted to go on one of these retreats? I looked it up and of course is starts at $3000 a person. It’s just another reminder that this type of relationship structure is often catered to mostly well-to-do people with a lot of time on their hands”
