“They created a profile and held a press conference. And most of the key pieces in the profile were added by outsiders. All the heavy lifting was done by others. Nice story, but a bit overdone. And another thing: the cops don’t give credit to the kids, and the podcaster slams them for it. There is possibly a pretty good reason police don’t want to encourage 15 and 16 year olds elsewhere to stir up hornets nests if there is an active serial killer in their town.”
