This podcast is worth the listen
I, like most of the people listening to this; am a fan of murder/crime podcasts. This one is different than the rest though. It’s more poetic- in the name of the victim. Each episode shares the memory of the victim so well it’s like you know them. Kristins voice is kind of soothing and it just has a really good energy about it. Being that the podcast focuses on small town events you would expect a small production but her work is researched, the sound work is professional and her words are well written. Im always excited when a new episode airs. Thanks for this creation. The James Hicks episodes are the most wild & fun but the death of Peter Basset was my favorite listen. Kristin elaborates the history and tradition of American Indians and it’s just really beautiful to learn about. One day I’d love to hear more from her about topics that I can continue to learn from beside murder/crime.

Think about the impact these stories have on the people whose lives were affected by these crimes/events. Exploitation is not journalism and it’s not cool.

I am not normally into crime stories, but the way she tells the stories intertwined with actual audio is fascinating. And I can’t stop listening!!
