Meh. Not worth the listen.
The hosts are extremely condescending towards those from the small town, and the inflection in Jordan Smith’s voice feels forced and too rehearsed - I had to stop listening because it was driving me crazy. The story itself was interesting but I was bored listening to this podcast. After listening to the podcast “Cold”, this just felt like amateur hour.

I drive through Adel listening to your pod every week as new episodes come out. Interesting. I never knew these stories. If you like crime pods, this one is well done.

I started listening and it sounded so familair and than it hit be this story was already covered in the Breakdown Podcast by ACJ so why repeat it. I am sure the time spent could have been applied to another unsolved case.
