About what you’d expect
I started listening with interest, and after the usual tried-and-true build up to the story, it became standard blasé fair opinion disguised as fact. Then I remembered this podcast series was done by The Intercept, the typical far left opinion blog disguising itself as hard news and journalism. Throw in the ever present talk of good ole southern racism - liberal progressives find racism under any rock you kick over - and the much to be expected stereotypical acoustic guitar right out of the movie Deliverance, and you have your podcast. Two stars for a decent production. But the story and opinions are worth one star at best.
