This week the Muses discuss the life and career of Blondie front-woman Debbie Harry.
Debbie Harry had no idea what NYC had in store for her when she moved in the late 60's, but she certainly had big dreams. Working at Max's Kansas City she would wait on musicians she admired, while working hard to make her own musical goals come true. It wasn't a quick rise to fame, but when Debbie met Chris Stein and the pair formed Blondie, it was clear that there was something special there, both musically and personally.
As Blondie's fame grew, Debbie's growth as an artist skyrocketed. She began a side career as an actress, put out her own solo albums and became one of the most recognizable punk rock icons. Tune in to hear her journey!
You can purchase Debbie's memoir, Face It, where ever books are sold.
