Two people with nothing to say, and taking an entire episode to say it
This show should be taken down. It started way too early assuming it should be put up at all. And it shouldn’t. At this stage we are in the preliminaries of a nasty tawdry case, but really in the very early stages. So we get an entire two episodes about timetabling, and another with a description of the interior of the Supreme Court of Victoria, with a side joke about how one of the pair sat too close to the automatic door sensor and didn’t realise, sitting gormlessly for 15 min. I almost sensed a laugh track being queued…. If you are going to report on the trial, then report on the trial, when the trial starts - not a year or more before. What’s more this kind of voyeuristic “journalism” runs the risk of causing a mistrial. The podcast is being made available in Victoria - the State where the jury will eventually be empaneled. Your jokey comments give rise to a significant risk of the accused being able to say that they cannot get a fair trial because the minds of the population have been poisoned against the, ABC, this is beneath you. Stop this podcast, or at least delay it till the trial actually starts. We will respect you more if you did.

Bit trashy for an ABC podcast. A serious case where people have died and families are grieving but these guys think it’s a bit of a laugh. Disappointed

There is nothing really here that is actually part of the case. As the case won’t be heard for at least a year this will just be badgering people and looking for stuff to say.

What I have heard do far is very wry without being disrespectful. Looking forward to hearing more when the trial begins.
