The Hollywood BOA shootout was crazy!
As a retired civilian from the Las Vegas police department, my ears are trained to listen to radio traffic. I have heard most of the radio traffic from this incident. But your explanations during the episode is spot on! I believe the general public will understand better how difficult a dispatcher’s job is when hearing them swamped with radio traffic & officers stepping over each other & officers asking for the air, calling for SWAT & helicopters & other agency help with traffic, all while hearing sirens, shots, etc., in the background. This podcast gets better every episode!

This is really a cool podcast with a special angle into “crime scenes”. Emergency calls responses by the call attendants are as real as they get and the narrator’s voice and tone adds to this. Seems like a tough job!

Brandon does a great job of bringing the 911 calls and radio traffic between dispatch and first responders helping you get the feel of the raw emotions and anxiety people face on a daily basis , giving the stories of what happened and being respectful of the victims.
