“Holm catches the feeling of the music like no one else does. He describes it and shares his knowledge and passion with the listener. He is introducing I each song both in its background, composition and it’s existence within the current music scene.
Also he is maybe even the person who knows the most about Danish music, where it is coming from and where it is going. And making sure that music from this tiny country finds its way to a global audience. He thinks big and knows the local hero’s.
Me and my boyfriend listen to him no matter where we are and what show he is producing and even though my boyfriend doesn’t speak Danish, Carsten Holms shoes are a must on every road trip, silent morning, and house cleaning!
