In October of 1977 or 78, tonight’s guest was spending the weekend with his father, uncle, and grandfather, at their hunting camp, in Northern Marquette County, Michigan. On Sunday morning, they woke up and prepared for a day of hunting. The sun was out, and it was a beautiful fall day. There wasn’t any reason for him to believe his day would be anything but laid back and rewarding. As fate would have it, however, the day turned out to be anything but subdued.
