“I have dreamed about walking the Camino since I read an article in 2003. I was supposed to go finally in September 2020. That trip was postponed of course. I also have a son and grandchildren who live in Sydney. In normal years I travel from Houston, Texas to Sydney twice to visit my family. Of course, those travels were canceled as well this year. I walk every day and started listening to this podcast about a month ago while I
walk. It is bittersweet because I hear the sounds of Sydney in the background of some of the recordings and it transports me to Sydney and to the Camino at the same time. I am thankful I found this podcast. It makes me feel a bit closer to Sydney and makes the disappointment of not getting to go on my Camino this year a little bit easier. I am also a fellow musician so I really enjoy the musical aspect of Dan’s podcast. I can’t help but harmonize on Somewhere along the Way. Keep up the great work, Dan.
