“I hope that you are speaking with no intent, but when you say that someone “discovering the truth” about a trans woman, implying someone “discovering” they were not assigned female at birth, and don’t speak clearly, you come pretty close to saying that trans people might murder you if you find out the history of their anatomy. Maybe you’re not aware of this, but please, address it. Trans people are more likely to be victims of assault than almost any other group in our society. Don’t use some spooky piano music and pregnant pauses to imply cause for murder. This is 2020 and you really really really should be aware of what you are saying. Your words have impact.”
