Should be prerequisite listening for HSC and all high school English classes
Such a good podcast. Bringing to the forefront the women that support the men that can’t get past their past. In Australia, in our current climate, where violent acts against women are not reported against in a strong enough light and where children of trauma affected backgrounds are not always given the full support they need (or that they accept and take up). This is an important discussion. The best part is that it has been so well presented and produced- it’s “easy listening” for a not so “easy” topic. I would highly recommend this podcast. It gives insights into the nature vs nurture debate and gives hope that the future generations may learn from those that have gone before them and make a change for the better. It also gives strength to the women involved in these situations- you can be strong, you can make the right choices for you and whilst you may never change the drive and the choices of the man you love you can choose to protect yourself and those you love. Brilliant.

More reviews of My Father The Murderer
From a guy who grew up not knowing my Dad you give me strength . The most whole heartily truthful podcast I’ve ever heard. Could not stop listening. Every son ; daughter; mother; father should listen and take a piece of this story with us .

Enjoying this series but feeling like it’s a bit repetitive and goes over too much content from the episode before. Think the journalist needs to step out of the story just a tad, but otherwise a good series
