“Comics reading lists always seem to have too little or too much content, or they aren’t organized in a way that yields the reader a broad understanding of continuity, development, and historical context. I think Comic Book Herald nails the scope aspect of digging into Marvel, and this podcast is a commendable accompaniment. Zack and Dave are smart and funny, and they treat the subject material with the right balance of appreciation and irreverence. Highly recommended to those who are interested in comics but not insufferable about it.”
