“I am BRAND new to comics, and I found MMY through the CBH website when googling “How to start reading Marvel comics.” I am a huge fan of the MCU, but always feel like I am missing out on so much history and mythos that can be found only in the comics. I can safely say after listening to and reading along with over 30 episodes from the very beginning (I am currently working through 1972!) that there is simply no substitute for this show. If you’re looking to get involved in Marvel comics, or you’ve read them for years and you want to fill in the blanks or revisit your favorites - this is the podcast for you! I listen every time I drive, or mow the grass, or find myself bored and restless on a weekend afternoon. The humor and knowledge that Dave and Zack provide has completely changed the way I view Marvel, and more importantly, the medium of comics. I found that Dr. Strange really resonated with me early on, and I am reading every issue of Dr. Strange from the beginning to present alongside the club read now! MMY has opened a completely new world to me and hopefully someday I’ll be listening as new episodes release! Thanks for all your hard work guys, and I’ll see you next year (in twenty years)!”
