“I don’t mind criticism of characters, but they get so caught up in the negative without really trying to understand why the characters are the way they are. Plus I know they’re re-reading the books as they go but they’re mixing up so many plot points and butchering the story.
For example they talk about how Edward isn’t frozen at 17 mentally, but that’s contrary to the books. They also get so many easily googled facts wrong. Who that’s remotely interested in Twilight doesn’t know the drama around Midnight Sun?
And I get hating some of the stuff Bella does, but honestly psychology 101 would answer some of these questions and make sense of her issues.
This came up in my recommendations after listening to Remember Twilight? Which is a far better podcast. Them saying “we love this series” is akin to someone saying “I don’t mean to be rude but...””
