Draft Recap-
The Carolina Panthers came into this years draft with GLARING needs one the defensive side of the football. Obviously the organization has turned a new leaf with new ownership, new coaching and most notably a new QB. The Panthers really went hard on offense during free agency with the signings of Robby Anderson and acquisition of Russell Okung via trade. Obviously Cam Newton is out and walks in is Teddy Bridgewater. So offensively things look solid. In the draft the Panthers made history with selecting 7 defensive players. That’s never happened before.
I love the Derrick Brown pickup and we got a steal in Yetor Gross-Matos in the early second round. Obviously we passed up on Isaiah Simmons (much to my displeasure early on in the draft) but later traded back into the second round to acquire my steal of the draft who is Jeremy Chinn. Chinn is an athletic FREAK that can make an instant impact on our defense. We cut Eric Reid and we don’t necessarily know how Juston Burris is going to pan out or where he fits in this Phil Snow defense. Chinn is my steal of the draft because he is the jack of all trades just like Simmons.
Hope I win that jersey!”
