The most entertaining sci-fi comedy podcast since NIGHT VALE
“I’m not the only person to add dark stuff to this world… there’s now a school called Denver Broncos Memorial High School, for reasons which are clear from the title.” “And a gaping hole in the NFL’s schedule.” While this is technically a bunch of super likable high school students (plus one hilarious Midwestern den mom) playing MONSTER HUNTERS, it’s also one of the better serialized podcasts around. The sound quality is impeccable, Tyler’s thoughtful, low-key narration/GMing is superb, and the players are all committed to the reality of the world in a fantastic way. So far, six episodes in, we’ve just had a jaw dropping revelation about a character’s pact with the actual devil; the entire gang has been transported into an alternate universe where there’s a 51st state, Superior; Adam’s turning into a moth man/moth teen, and there’s a confused park ranger. Also giant murderous catfish. You’ll be hooked 3 episodes in. Trust me. It’s like Welcome to Night Vale with 90% less cosmic horror!
