Please!!
I really love Parcast, but your research on Christian beliefs and Jesus’s teachings are almost always wrong! Please contact a professor of religion at a Christian university to do your research. It makes me doubt the other “facts” you use in your episodes... For instance, Jesus did not teach that his followers could not be rich, or that people had to “earn” their salvation. Neither did he “reward his followers by turning water into wine” and heal the sick. This misses the entire premise of Christian faith and the work of Jesus. At this point I cannot recommend your podcast to any of my friends because these inaccuracies. These are very basic, easy concepts that are being misrepresented by Parcast and I am saddened by the dip in quality every time I hear Christianity or Jesus being spoken about. I’m a thirty-four year old pastor’s daughter, and my husband is now an elder in my church. I’ve taught Sunday school for years as well as leading groups on the basics of Christianity. I would love it if Parcast would improve their knowledge of Jesus and the Bible, which I believe would also improve the quality and trustworthiness of the organization. Thank you for your time! There are many things I would like to...Read full review »
