“This podcast is an unhappy and annoying mixture – It’s too superficial to be interesting, and I found the production weirdly childish and the style of narration was cloying and condescending.
Although the music stings, production, and narration make it sound like it’s targeted at 12yo’s who like novels about dragons and wizards, the content is often not at all suitable for kids or young teenagers, but delivered in a way that’s too simplistic to be interesting to adults.
I don’t really know who this is supposed to be for – it’s not slick or entertaining enough to be an engaging dramatisation of myths, and it’s too silly and superficial to be an analysis of them.”
