Description
I had an amazing conversation with Kathryn Larsen. A fellow American like myself has ample experience living in Denmark.  She shares her journey and all I can say is...You have to hear it for yourself! We delve right into the conversation of Katie’s heritage and how she got to Denmark. We share a similar journey of our ‘Danish immigration status,’ and we can certainly can relate to one another. She is considered “The Seaweed Girl” but she is SO.MUCH.MORE. Katie is a published author/Artist, Designer, creator, Architect, and entrepreneur in her own Studio, “Studio Katheryn Larsen.” She is a world traveler that speaks English, Danish, Spanish, and Japanese. Katie is of Polish, Puerto Rico, and Taíno Heritage.  She is this expansive creative woman who has researched pre-colonial architectural history and had surprising findings. Katie (or Kathryn) hopes to grow her career and studio.  She continues to use her perspective to create innovative solutions for a more sustainable building industry. She is a phenomenal individual and I am so grateful she is sharing all her insights with us.
