Love and hugs to you all. I wanted to reply to the portion of the episode that Chris asked for help/advice on how to engage the youth to encourage them to vote. I’ve worked in politics too and I understand the importance of data. I would recommend Chris start his efforts with a deep listening session (surveys, focus groups, etc) with the youth to understand the nuances of their reasons WHY they are uninterested in voting. Gather that data and allow it to provide insights which will lead to actions that can address their issues. This is pertinent in creating your methodology for building a plan. I know we want to just start “telling” the youth all the reasons why it is important for them to vote, but until you have a clear understanding of why voting has not been important to them, your persuasion messages will be futile. I know we are a month away from the election, but this is something he can do for future cycles too. Love and hugs to you, Fam! FRFR. 👋🏾🌞💕🙂”
