“I have always loved sharing nature with my kids an family and bird watching an bird feeders. Well I asked a local birding Facebook page this spring about what plants I should put in my yard to attract birds an everyones answer was native plants. I have worked in flower shops , cut flower warehouse, a conservatory even. Well never had it be pointed out to me that native plants were so important. Needless to say I have fallen down the rabbit hole an landed in a whole different planet. I had asked Alexa yes Alexa to play me a native plants podcast An there you two were ! The information you share has completely changed my life. Your guest are amazing An they totally love their jobs. The excitement in their voices for the knowledge they are sharing just radiates thru the speakers. The changes you two are making an the guest are making gives me hope that we can make a very important impact . Needless to say 49 different species of native plants later, that’s just species not the number of plants I have added just since May. Trees, shrubs An perennials are all transforming my whole yard habitat. Frogs , butterflies, pollinators, dragonflies, an yes I have already noticed new birds. Thank you for effecting my life by sharing your stories with me. I am spreading the word to everyone, Facebook, family and friends ... my neighbor goes native plant shopping with me and even my son goes around the yard with me to see the changes An look for swallowtail an monarch caterpillars after he gets off work:) All because your podcast has such a amazing amount of knowledge to share An everyone that has been on the show has hands on experience with the way nature, conservation, a plant , animal or insects / pollinators/ native bees has changed their lives an they love sharing an educating. Thank you An I hope everyone gives your podcast a listen an it effects their lives the way it has mine.”
