Max Scherzer put together another solid start, but Rangers’ journeyman Austin Bibens-Dirkx matched him through seven and Texas went up in the eighth and took three straight in Washington, D.C. Scherzer collected his 2,000th K this afternoon, and reached double-digits in Ks for the fourth straight outing, but the Nats' offense struggled to figure Bibens-Dirkx out in what ended up a 5-1 loss. Up next, three with the Atlanta Braves in the nation's capital. Nationals now 38-24. Stephen Strasburg will try to right the ship tomorrow...
