Interesting and well researched let down by music
A very well researched and interesting podcast. Sadly let down somewhat by an infliction common with podcasts made in the United States. Overly dramatic and unsubtle music, at times, doesn’t fit the somber tone of the subject matter. Less is more! The story provides the drama and emotion. Constant music doesn’t work. A good listen for sure but the jarring music took me me out of the story often. A shame

Even with Bill & Kate’s overdramatic narrative, the stories are engaging. These are, after all, historic events. After listening to several, the narration becomes more tongue-in-cheek, like narration noir. I like it. It’s fun to anticipate where Bill will go uber dark and intense.

The people narrating this podcast sound like they’re reading from a children’s book to a group of five year olds. This could be a really good podcast except for that. Please replace them.

Can a podcast be too scripted yes...the hosts sound like robots and never change their tone. (And that goes for all the Parcasters) It gets boring after a while:/
