“Let me get this out of the way early...I’m not Scottish and don’t live in Scotland.
My interest in this podcast came initially through my interest in birding and the RSPB link; I’ve also just completed a cycle around the NC500 which whet my appetite for the Highlands and Islands and the nature within it.
This podcast ticks every box in terms of flora and fauna and it’s main selling point for me is the conversational tone of all the sections and the enthusiasm for the natural world that comes across in those conversations.
The podcast is also delivered in a way that doesn’t exclude anyone new to any of the subjects and the presenters have so far always explained any of the local terms used for any of the birds, plants and insects they discuss / describe.
At around 30 minutes long, the podcasts are also of a good length to start and finish in a single listen,
Great listen and I’m already looking forward to episode 4.”
