“I have received so much extremely helpful insight from Dr Ramani’s YouTube channel, I was so excited to see she’d produced a podcast too. I think what she has to teach is the most important “self defense” course one could take. Understanding how a narcissist works has helped me to protect myself immensely.
I also want to say that I watched the entire Inventing Anna show on Netflix and I was screaming at the tv the whole time thinking WHY isn’t this show discussing narcissism?! I just thought it was so obvious and so strange the media was not labeling it what it is. So when I heard Dr Ramani had taken on that case for her podcast, I just felt so relieved that someone of authority had held that story up to the light! I dream of a day when narcissistic personality disorder is basic knowledge and everyone has a chance to protect themselves from this abuse. I definitely think this platform will be a leading force in societies awakening to this insidious and damaging disorder, which pretty much always effects everyone who comes in contact with the disordered, instead of the person that actually has it!
