“This podcast covers a wide variety of topics relevant to Nevada sportsmen and sportswomen. I don’t even live in Nevada and I enjoy it. I don’t miss an episode.
A couple suggestions for the podcast team:
1. I think this podcast has some appeal to people in states that border Nevada. There seems to be an assumption that everyone knows where every mountain range, river, lake, and county is in Nevada. Perhaps by being mindful of the fact that you have listeners who don’t know these things, and then prompting guests to explain locations better might help listeners like me. (If I’m home listening, I stop and look it up but I’m usually listening while driving.)
2. Have a narrower focus on some topics and invite experts on those subjects to discuss them on the show. For example, have heard about the fly fishing from ladders at Pyramid Lake. Why not have a show more narrowly focused on that? Do the same with other topics, and in particular, those things that are unique to Nevada. Hunting for Himalayan Snowcock in the Ruby Mountains would be a good example of something unique to Nevada (at least in the Western Hemisphere).”
