The genre Afrobeat has been around for a while (give thanks to Fela Kuti) and with famous artists such as Beyonce, Drake and Burna boy elevating the genre it couldn’t be taking the world faster than it is - and well, now it’s catching some buzz on a mainstream level, especially in Brisbane.
