Some Words By A Fan
Nerd Of Mouth is without a doubt in my mind the funniest, most entertaining podcast I've come across. Perfect length episodes with intriguing topics on popular culture and being a nerd provide enjoyment even to listeners not as deeply initiated into say, comic books, as the two co-hosts. Mike Lawrence and Jake Young are both enviably witty and have a keen sense of comic timing. By sprinkling several cultural references and song parodies into the episodes, they make me eager to revisit old shows and anxiously wait for new ones to arrive. Glossy descriptions aside, this show is absolutely a favorite of mine. It's great to relax to and have some chuckles with. I'd like to thank the hosts (and super-producer Marcus Parks!) for making it and providing it for free here on iTunes. I hope to be listening to you guys for quite a long time further on. This post contains no sarcasm. -"I signed up on iTunes for writing this alone" (My personal favorite episodes: Episode 23: Ow My Groin, The Halloween Special, It's Zanin' Men, The Addiction)

Even when I'm not myself 100% familiar with the particular topic of the episode I'm still laughing balls. This and NYC Crime Report were my intro to Cave Comedy Radio, whose other shows are just as essential! Great stuffRead full review »

The topics they choose are interesting, thoughtful, and most importantly, HILARIOUS. There are some "meh" episodes, which are few and far between; they are...Read full review »

Mike has been one of my favorite comedians for years which is how I found this show. Jake is the perfect positive ray of nerdy sunshine to balance Mike's accurate, informed but mostly negative critiques of the things he loves. Marcus as the mostly quiet but very wise super producer steps in...Read full review »
