Good but hyperbolic at times
I appreciate the conversations and topics but there is a few things I’ve noticed. 1. Marvel bias - they openly trash the DCEU (understandably/rightfully so) and glorify Marvel. It can be rectified by simply not comparing the 2 universes because they aren’t equal. The DCEU would’ve been a massive hit if it was released in the 90’s/00’s. And frankly it’s not as bad as people say. 2. Star Wars - often critical of fandoms such as Stars Wars, DCEU, MCU, etc. But don’t realize these universes were make for children and these adults are expecting supreme quality from these studios. George Lucas stated he never cared about Star Wars being taken seriously because IT WAS MADE FOR KIDS. It’s because those kids in the 70’s/80’s that grew up into adults that glorify the OG trilogy to masterpieces but they were simply not that serious. Same can be said for both MCU & DCEU because they’re not “accurate” to the comics but they’re not the comics, they’re film adaptions. 3. Anime - for being a nerdin out podcast, they lack a huge portion of nerds that are heavy into anime. Even a tiny bit of knowledge would be okay but there’s none at all.
